My Laptop. What would I do without him. This is my principal work tool. I'm from Concepcion and my home studio it's there, but I'm studying in Santiago and with a PC I couldn't work in both places. I've got it the last year, I bought it in Santiago cause' I need it to work. I use my laptop to record and produce the music that I created, with many programs like Pro Tools and Fl Studio. But also I used this to play with classmates. Every day I turn on my laptop and I start to produce music, that doesn't bore me, some clients sends me songs to mix or mastering so I'm always busy with something different, sometimes mine or sometimes not. I especially like my laptop bc this have the requirements that I'm searching for, 16GB Ram, SSD, and a good processor, also has a graphic card so I can work and have fun. Without my laptop I couldn't work or I would need 2 computers, and there's no enough money.

Hi! In my last blog I talked about the story of why I choose Sound Engineering, but was my first option? When in Huachipato kick me out first I think "Well I have to study at University". I think that I'm so creative so one of my options was architecture, but I hate technical draw (for an old teacher what did I have), ok, discarded.  Let's search a second option. In school I always was good in maths, so I should study something related to this, and like architecture, Civil Engineering is similar but without technical draw. This was my option for a semester, but then I researched about Sound Engineering. I love the music and the maths always was easy to me, I like the classes that i was going to have. First I had a lot of fear, money comments scared me, but my family always supports me and that calmed me down. I was still in the school, but record with my cousin the weekend was my favorite hobby all the year so when I took the test I know my decision.

Hi! My name is Nicolás Bastías. I was born on November 12th, 2000. I'm from Concepción and now I'm studying on Santiago cause my career, Sound Engineer was only here in Universidad de Chile. I grow with my Mom, Grandma, Grandpa and an Auntie on a Village called San Pedro de la Paz. I always had 2 passions. Soccer and Music. Soccer always was a close option. But why I'm studying Sound Engineer? Well, Since I was a kid had this two hobbies in my life. At 5 I entered to a Soccer School and almost at the same age my Grandpa bought me a little guitar. In the beginning I was very bad in both of they, but in soccer I get better faster.  I was in that school for 9 years. Ok, the music always was a hobby to me, and I never imagine that now music become my career.  In my school always was me the motivated to play song with friends on the school shows. I was a band for almost a year at 13, but then for time I leave that.  At 14 Huachipato F.C accepted me in the club and I start to tra
